A song that reminds you of someone
HIM – join me (in death)
This song was released in 1999. In early January of 2000, I met the man I love; the man who became my husband. The man of my life. We met on a blind date and when we entered a cafĂ© together, this song was playing. And it was playing on our next date, and the couple after that too. “Join Me” was quickly labelled our song, though – as someone who is not very romantic, I have to say, having a song is soppy.
I could have chosen many songs: Shine on Crazy Diamond, Les Planètes, Everything… But I haven’t heard the above song in a while and I like thinking back to when my my husband and me began dating 🙂
