I like the guitar in this song.

There are days, when I want to be swallowed too. But, today is not a day like that. Today I have, in fact, escaped the weight of darkness. Why should I sit alone in the dark and fall apart when I could do other, more fun, things instead?

Maybe I should just take things as they come. One of my biggest faults is expectations. Raised expectations. I am bound to be disappointed, am I not?

I’m sitting outside just now, with my laptop playing music. More Olafur Arnalds. There’s tea to my left, the cup rests on my book. I am sure it will leave a dark ring. But that’s okay. Books are allowed to look used. It’s a good day.
