T E Morris – a year in the wilderness

This song is a thing of beauty. It is from an EP called “The Long Distance Runner”, released really soon. Every song of that EP is brilliant, though (I think), this is a masterpiece! The lyrics, the orchestration, the mood this song sets… It is so sad, so touching…

I had the chance (a privilege really) to listen to the whole EP last November. This were my first thoughts:

Still a stunning song and somehow, every time I listen to it, the world around me fades and I am music. (no typo!) Songs like this, those that make you forget who you are and what you are supposed to do, is what makes me so passionate about music.
