in the depth of my heart (new poem)

In the depths of love’s embrace we danced,
A melody of hearts, a delicate chance.
But fate’s cruel hand swept us apart,
Leaving only echoes, etching through the heart.

Like a broken record, our love played on,
Each lyric a reminder of what’s gone.
The harmonies we shared, sweet and true,
Now transformed into a melancholy tune.

Oh, love’s melody, so hauntingly sweet,
A symphony of highs and lows, now incomplete.
The lyrics we once sang with all our might,
Now drift in the wind, lost in the night.

But in the quiet moments, I hear your voice,
Whispering through the echoes, aching with choice.
Like a timeless ballad, our love echoes on,
In the depths of my soul, eternally strong.

And as the tears fall, like gentle rain,
I find solace in the words, easing the pain.
For love and loss are intertwined, it seems,
A symphony of emotions, woven through dreams.

So let the music play, in memories we sway,
Love’s melody lingers, even as it fades away.
In the depths of my heart, your song remains,
A testament to love’s power, flowing through my veins.

every night (new poem/lyrics)

And it is every night
That I forget to love
And it is every night
That I don’t remember

You
Me
You
Me

And it is every night
That I am getting in my way
And it is every night
That I am awake, almost unreal

Me
You
Me
You

Every day
Every night
Nothing to say
Nothing but light

And it is every night
That

You
Me
You
Me

Forever us
Just too real.

A song…

Hello, it’s me
I’ve thought about us for a long, long time
Maybe I think too much but something’s wrong
There’s something here that doesn’t last too long
Maybe I shouldn’t think of you as mine

Seeing you, or seeing anything as much as I do you
I take for granted that you’re always there
I take for granted that you just don’t care
Sometimes I can’t help seeing all the way through

It’s important to me
That you know you are free
‘Cause I never want to make you change for me

Think of me
You know that I’d be with you if I could
I’ll come around to see you once in a while
Or if I ever need a reason to smile
And spend the night if you think I should

It’s important to me
That you know you are free
‘Cause I never want to make you change for me

Think of me
You know that I’d be with you if I could
I’ll come around to see you once in a while
Or if I ever need a reason to smile
And spend the night if you think I should
