This afternoon I got an email from the people who organise the online presence of luxembourgish artists. They asked if it was me who had written lyrics for a certain band. After an affirmative reply, they updated their webpage and now everything I officially published and that can be borrowed in the national libraries is now listed here : a-z.lu
My novels, like the one I shared here were not officially published. And my songs done with Weather Systems and Daniel Cavanagh are not official releases either. Also add, the vocals I did for a spoken poetry piece for a British artist and the hidden track (also spoken poetry) that can unfortunately not be found online anymore… Those are all unofficial releases. Did I ever mention the collaboration that is happening with a Belgian photographer? I already saw a couple of pictures but as far as I know, they are not officially released yet, hence I cannot share anything yet. (Just rest assured, that I was not in front of the lens)
I wonder more than once this year if my writing is done, if I am too content and settled lately to write. Fact is that I am lacking inspiration. I still want to write a children’s book one day – if I find someone who has the ability to illustrate in simple pictures what I see when I write a scene. I think that requires trust and being on the same page creatively. And a children’s book should not be self-published, I think. It needs a more professional approach. Another plan that seems to stay a plan was a spoken poetry album, entirely done and spoken by me and the artist who put the seed in my brain and who would provide the music – probably piano and guitar pieces. I am on a roll here, because I keep remembering projects I once envisioned. Like a picture book with my more artsy abstract photos, or, if you see this on the Desktop version, with the roads I’ve taken, which can be seen in the gallery on the right side. There are ideas, but the execution seems to be the issue.
What’s next for you? Do you have ideas, crazy or feasible?
