Domestic goddess

I am bragging but…

Sometimes I am really awesome in the kitchen, and today, I delivered. Those cubes in the pic are a cake called Donauwelle, Brownies with salty pretzels, Focaccia with a d without olives. Not pictured: a large pan of Lasagna.

I spent a lot of time in the kitchen today, but unfortunately, our guests are down with the flu. It’s a bit sad because for once, everything turned out just the way I wanted it to be and now I cannot show off, hehe

On the other side, there is more for us to enjoy.

Up until some time ago, I preferred being alone while cooking. I have every step in my head and because of restricted space, I hate when I have to dance around someone else or give instructions they don’t understand. But, lately I discovered that it is nice to have my kids around and share some secrets or tips. We enjoy those moments and it is way easier to cherish them now than it was ever before.

Maybe I’ve changed – I don’t know.

Anyway – there is a lot of food, but I have hungry teenagers home, they will probably take care of it in record time.
