It’s been a while but I am still yours.

Do I even exist if you don’t see me?

Do I even breathe when I am not inhaling your oxygen

Do I even care or am I only pretending?

For a while, I walked beneath the stars

I felt the heat and the passion

For a while, I was alive

I knew how to breathe and how to exhale

For a while I existed

Because you saw me.
