Sometimes, you put walls up not to keep people out, but to see who cares enough to break them down.

On one hand, I agree with this, on the other I don’t, because I am convinced that we don’t put those walls up consciously. And we are not looking for someone to break them down.
I think, we realise we built walls when someone begins to enter through the small cracks.

It is hard sometimes. We are used to our walls, we are comfortable and safe in there, breaking them down takes a lot of time and effort and it is exhausting and frustrating. But it is worth it.
