This afternoon, I had my second of thirty -two sessions of physiotherapy. My usual physio was not available and I had a session with his colleague. We decided to work speaking English because his Luxembourgish is not the best and my French is rustier than my English. It’s almost shameful to admit it. (Random fact: a recent study discovered that 77% of Luxembourgers speak 3 or 4 languages fluently).

Either way, the physio turned out to be Scottish and we talked a lot. He was very chatty and putting me at ease. I am not sure if he felt that I am not comfortable at all with new people, but we quickly had our topic: music. And even though he pushed a little passed my limits and I am in a lot of pain and discomfort tonight, it was a very pleasant session with lots of laughter.
