Glen Hansard – bird of sorrow
Such a beautiful and emotional song. I like it a lot and when I saw Glen live a couple of years ago, he played this song acoustically and it touched me so so much. It was an awesome show.
I used to say that I wanted to see Glen Hansard and Ben Howard live. I saw them both, but while Glen interacted with the audience and drank on stage and had fun, Ben was not present. He didn’t talk at all, mumbled his lyrics and didn’t play any encores. They played at the same location, one had amazing atmosphere, the other had none at all.
In the end, I like listening to both though.
